About Organiser

Established in 1966; The Institute of Civil Engineers and Architects, Surat popularly known as ICEA is an apex body of practicing Architects, Civil Engineers, Interior Designers, Urban planners and those affiliated to the field i.e. Civil Contractors and Surveyors. Low profile yet vibrant; humble in approach but effective and an non-profit professional Institution but serves the City of Surat and the surrounding region for its infra-structure development and more particularly the Construction industry at large.

The major activities include technical seminars & workshops, Symposiums on subjects benefiting Real estate at large and technical tours for members to remain in-touch with the most modern and latest technology + material. With its varied events and activities; ICEA has earned recognition from local & competent authorities such as Government of Gujarat (GOG), Surat Municipal Corporation (SMC) and Surat Urban Development Authority (SUDA). Concern for the profession & Commitment to the Society are the key words on which ICEA functions which led to being invited to represent on various important Committees of Government; prime being our major role in framing policy like GDCR.

STHAPATYA – the very name has become synonymous with Exhibition of Building material and Architectural + Interior products in Surat and around.
